In the picture at right, the red Firetrace Detection Tubing (FDT) can be seen running unobtrusively throughout the storage cabinet, ensuring that fire detection is close to all potential sources of fire, resulting in fast detection and suppression of a growing fire.

In addition, Firetrace's compatibility with virtually any commercially available fire suppressant agent, allows the flexibility to choose the best possible agent for a particular hazard, including FM-200 clean agent, CO₂ and dry chemical powders.

Firetrace systems can be located both in indoor hazardous material storage cabinets and outdoor hazardous storage buildings.

Firetrace systems are completely pneumatic, and can run stand-alone in a remote location on the facility property without the need for an outside power source.
