The proprietary red detection tubing is the key to catching fires when they start. Its Polymer composition makes it immune to the vibrations and shocks that are harmful to most other detection systems.
The Firetrace Detection Tubing (FDT) is installed both above and behind the potential source of fire. Upon detection the tubing will burst releasing its extinguishing agents which will result in suppression times faster than those achieved using manual suppression.
This system includes a manual release for driver operation as well as an audible alarm to alert the driver and passengers when the system is activated.
