With the sales growth in the CNC Machining Sector, we have recently seen a jump in inquiries regarding reactive metals and suppressing Class-D Fires in machines.

The key to the suppression action, is stopping the fire from getting hot enough to ignite the metals, and both FE-227 (HFC-227ea) and CO₂ are excellent agents for suppressing a fire with an "oil" base.

At NO time should anyone represent that FE-227 (HFC-227ea), or any other non- Class-D agent, is adequate for suppressing burning metals.
