Unprecedented growth can’t just happen…

Firetrace International has enjoyed incredible growth over its 16 years.  Founded in Scottsdale in 2000, Firetrace’s first official facility was a 2,000 sq ft facility.  In 4 years, Firetrace had outgrown that facility and tripled floor space to 6,000 sq ft.  The next jump saw an almost 4x increase to 23,000 sq ft just 3 years later, and that space was doubled again 2 years after that to 45,000 sq ft.  2012 saw our move to the current facility and more than 60,000 sq ft, with the addition of nearly 40,000 sq ft more in adjacent space since we moved in.

That growth is pretty amazing by almost anyone’s standards. That growth has to be driven, it doesn’t just happen.  Even with a fantastic product like Firetrace’s suppression systems, and the huge variety of applications for it around the world, there needs to be something more to create that success.

This weekend in the US we celebrate Labor Day.

“Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of the country.”

So now seems appropriate to celebrate the team, around the world, that has taken Firetrace from a small unknown company with a great product, to a globally recognized brand in the industry that is a part of a world-class company dedicated to protecting life and improving quality of life for people worldwide.

From those who help our customers in product selection and system design, to those who process the paperwork, to those who work hard day in and day out to build, package and ship systems with the highest attention to detail and quality, we all say “Thank you”.

And to our customers, both the end users who have elected to protect their equipment with Firetrace, and our more than 500 distributors worldwide who work hard as are our front-line brand ambassadors, be certain that you all play a role in our success.

Happy Labor Day to all!
