Hazardous Material Storage Cabinets

Fire protection for hazardous material storage cabinets

Hazardous material cabinets are found in a variety of commercial, industrial and laboratory settings. By nature, these storage cabinets present an elevated danger to the building and occupants, which is why effective fire protection is essential.

Firetrace systems are uniquely qualified to protect these cabinet “micro-environments”.

The red Firetrace Detection Tubing (FDT) can be seen running unobtrusively throughout the storage cabinet, ensuring that fire detection is close to all potential sources of fire, resulting in fast detection and suppression of a growing fire.

In addition, Firetrace’s compatibility with most commercially available fire suppressant agents ensures the best possible agent can be chosen for a particular hazard. Just a few of these fire suppressing agents include FM-200 clean, CO2 and ABC dry chemical powder.

Firetrace systems are completely pneumatic, and can run stand-alone in a remote location on the facility property without the need for an outside power source.
