Firetrace offers a range of different agents for use with our fire suppression system hardware, including dry chemical, clean agents, and carbon dioxide (CO2). A variety of agents are recommended for different applications or hazards.
Every agent has advantages and disadvantages, which is why it is important to understand your application requirements. For example, to select the most appropriate agent for a given application, you will need to know whether the hazard you need to protect is susceptible to Class A, B, C, or D fires (or some combination of these).
Firetrace systems can be installed with any of these agents:
Both FK-5-1-12 and FM-200 fall under the category of clean agents. These agents quickly suppress the fire without harming the equipment, employees, and the environment. They are noncorrosive, nonconductive, and because they do not leave a residue to clean up, it minimizes the interruption of your business operations.
